Jonathan Bettridge, D.V.M.

Dr. Bettridge graduated from Washington State University Cum Laude in 1975, and moved to Anchorage, Alaska to practice. In 1978, he opened the Eagle River Veterinary Hospital which grew into a five doctor hospital focusing on small animal medicine, which he owned and operated until 1996.

From 1999 until 2006, Dr. Bettridge was the Senior Civilian Veterinarian for Kaiserslautern Military Community at Ramstein Air Force Base in Germany, again focusing on a general small animal practice. In 2006, he joined the Animal Care Center team, bringing a lifetime of management and medical experience, and an anjoyment of small dog medicine and internal medicine diagnostics.

While in Alaska, Dr. Bettridge was immersed in the hobbies of hunting, fishing, gardening, and beekeeping. Here in Green Valley, he shares his home with his wife and Cactus Jack, a Boston Terrier. His passions for nature are fed by his love of gardening and birding.
